Skate sizing is something you have to know about if you plan on playing ice hockey or if you just want to go on skating. You have to know that skate sizing is different from your regular shoe sizes. So size 13 Bauer hockey skates for kids are those with size 12 shoe size and the size 13 hockey skates for adults are for size 12 shoe size.
CMM skates and Easton Skates are one and a half shoe sizes smaller. Nike stakes for the kids are just the same size of regular shoes. However, for adult hockey skates, Nike skates are half size smaller. Mission skates are different. Mission hockey skate sizing is just the same sizing as your regular shoes.
Hockey skate sizing for kids starts at size 1 to 13.5. For adult hockey skates, the smallest is size 4. The largest is size 16 hockey skates. A lot of websites that are selling hockey skates and other hockey gears and equipment have skate sizing charts which you can look at. They have skate sizing charts for all brands that offer hockey skates. You can also go online and check out other tips you can find about skate sizing as well as the different types of skates you can look for. Check out forums and reviews about hockey skates and sizing too. However, it will still be best to go to the shops and try the skates yourself.
